It is difficult to imagine a greater waste of time by the Attorney General of the United States than Friday’s circus here in Tampa. As a law firm representing one of the accused doctors, we are stunned at what appears to be a very flimsy case. In the end, even if acquitted, these doctors will never regain their reputations not to mention the emotional toll being a defendant in federal court will have on them and their families.
One can’t help but wonder if there was a rush here to make a big splash in order to further Washington’s political agenda.
