Portland, Oregon newspaper the Oregonian (http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2014/01/nike_sued_by_portland_pimp_for.html), reports that a convicted, violent pimp serving a 100 year prison sentence for brutally beating and stomping a man and woman has filed a $100,000,000 lawsuit against Nike for –get this – failing to warn consumers that the shoes could be used as a dangerous weapon! The Good news? He filed the lawsuit on his own (pro se). At least we don’t have to rile against our brethren for filing a ridiculous lawsuit. Lawyers had nothing to do with this one.
